Mexico is a country of diversity that welcomed me with open arms.
Windebank Studio – A Place Not to be Missed
On my last visit to Ontario a friend suggested that I visit Warkworth, a small town that has been revitalized by an active community of dedicated artists. Warkworth hosts many annual events which include the Percy Agricultural Fall Fair, Maple Syrup Festival, Lilac Festival and Sunday Drive Presents Warkworth, 16-day arts festival.
I was driving around the area photographing the splendid fall colors of the Trent Hills and luckily stumbled on Ron Windebank’s Studio. I soon forgot I had made the wrong turn back a few miles and immediately stopped when I saw the enormous ART sign displayed on the hill by the side of the home.

Windebank Studio is housed in an enormous barn. In good weather the yard is scattered with an interesting assortment of whimsical curious, garden sculptures, urns, fountains, gazebos & twisted metal artworks created by local artisans and Ron’s original paintings.
